Hotel Jen Tanglin has undergone an extensive makeover to transition from Traders
Hotel Singapore. Our fresh and contemporary hotel, designed to attract the same highly valued
business and leisure traveller, now reflects a modern functional design concept that removes
many of the common pain points of today’s travellers – whether individuals, families or groups.

New contemporary guest rooms: None of the 565 rooms are the same – with four contemporary locally curated wallpaper designs highlighting a Singapore theme (bicycle, orchid, goldfish & shop house). Each room includes thoughtful touches such as free WiFi, USB charger outlets, high pressure walk-in showers, and king-sized “floating” beds with 300-thread count linen.

A fresh take on all-day dining - Authentic South-East Asian cuisine is showcased in J65, our new restaurant with a local farmer’s market look and feel. Our chic lobby also houses Jen’s Kitchen On-the-Go – a café and snack bar offering Singapore’s finest artisan products including locally roasted coffee and many open lounging areas to meet the growing social.

JEN Singapore Tanglin by Shangri-La is conveniently located on the Orchard Road shopping district and a 2-minute walk from Orchard Boulevard MRT Station. It features an outdoor swimming pool and guests can enjoy meals at the in-house restaurant. The hotel is connected to Tanglin Mall, where shops, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets are easily within reach.

It is within walking distance from Singapore's first UNESCO World Heritage Site, the serene Botanic Gardens. It is a 15-minute stroll from major malls like ION Orchard and Wisma Atria.
